No.38PZ Equality and Diversity Policy

Aims

We aim to create an atmosphere of friendship, respect and care for each other. In particular, we aim to treat every guest equally, regardless of their age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage or civil partnership, pregnancy or maternity, race, religion or belief, sex, or sexual orientation.

Diversity

No.38PZ exists for all our guests. We aim to deliver a service that suits the interests and meet the needs of a wide variety of people. No.38PZ is open to new ideas, and will endeavor to reassess our diversity policy in the light of any feedback (positive or negative).

Inclusion and respect

Every guest of No.38PZ should be made to feel equally welcome. Sexist, racist, homophobic, transphobic or otherwise offensive and inflammatory remarks and behaviour are not acceptable from anybody working at No.38PZ or any guests.

Dealing with discrimination and harassment

If any guest or employee feels they have been discriminated against by another guest or member of the No.38PZ team then the incident will be investigated as impartially as possible. If the complaint is against a particular individual, this person will have the opportunity to express their point of view, accompanied by a friend. The person making the complaint will also have this opportunity.

If the complaint is against No.38PZ as a whole, we will endeavour to ensure that such discrimination is not repeated in the future.

This policy was adopted on 1 June 2019, and will be reviewed at least every 2 years.
